Horizontal sliding windows are a favourite choice for installing behind all types of casement windows. Good for noise reduction, they can be fitted to the plastered reveals or 'face fixed' to the primary window itself if appropriate. Horizontal sliding windows are available in two, three or four pane configurations and each pane can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. The sliding panes mean that the window can be opened without sweeping items from the cill and blinds and curtains can still be operated at all times.
